Hopefully, you are saying “yes” to both questions.

The Fundraising Committee is looking to all of the club members to go out and obtain donations for the silent auction that will be held at our June Open Horse Show.  We are asking each of you to give the secretary a phone call and let her know who you are contacting so she can keep track of all businesses that have been asked, so we don’t double up on anyone.  We’ve already had a couple of volunteers take up either certain towns or different businesses already, so pick up the phone and chat with her to get your favorite businesses to ask.

We are happy to say we have already received a few donations, but the storage totes are almost full.  To make the money we did last year and be able to donate a nice chunk of change to the local food shelves, we need to go out and get a huge variety of items, either in merchandise, gift certificates,services, horsey or non-horsey items, new or gently used.  Please give us a phone call ASAP or bring them to the next general meeting on April 12th at 7PM.

We are hoping to schedule a few of our more experienced riders up there, offering assistance to anyone that is interested in getting a new outlook on what is going on between the rider and his/her horse.

Along with having a few tidbits of information out there for you to take in, we are planning to have a potluck to finish up the evening.  Plis, we are waiting to find out who will be our official TCR pony measurers and they will also be available to get all of the attending TCR ponies measured that night.  By doing it that night, you will have already made the deadline and don’t have to worry about it any longer.
